Mummy Koh is very sick recently. Having fever for more a week..Anyway brought Declan for a short stay at the Marina Mandarin Hotel cos Daddy Koh feels bad as we did not bring Declan along for our Taipei Trip. Overall, dun find it very fantastic even though they just renovated.

As usual our little one was overwhelmed whenever we brought him there. Can see that he really enjoyed himself. Our little boy has indeed grown up and we realised that he can understand 3 languages, Hokkien, chinese and English! haha

Now he loves to greet everyone of us and are trying to imitate what ever we do. So I try to get him participate in stuff we do like vacum the floor, wiping the tables etc. This little guy can actually "chat" through the phone with me every morning..Feels great hearing him calling me "Mee mee" over the phone and o ya, now whenever we take a pic of him, he will stand there and says "cheese" Real cute, I tell you!

Time flies, and he has less than a month before he entered childcare. Sigh, dunno how he will react. Pray hard that he will adapt to the environment soon..

Wow wow! Its been almost 2 mths since I last update the blog. Anyway, just back from my Taipei Trip yesterday. Overall, it was enjoyable..Lotsa eating and shopping, but as usual, luggage is now packed with Declan Boi Boi's stuff! hahah.

Missed my little boi, going over to Mum's place to see him in awhile. Now he knows how to address me by calling "Mi", you should hear him says "batman", so funny and cute..He is starting to talk now, but single words and it all depends on his mood.

His progress:

1. Can walk really fast now
2. Listen to instructions
3. Can call "gong gong", "Ma", "Mi", "Papa" and "Yee"
4. Can recognise Letters A and B.
5. Favourite things: "anything related to train cos Thomas the train is his favourite"
6. Can dance and "sing" really well
7. Super good motor skills, thats what his PD said, not me!

Yes, we are back from our Bintan Trip! It was enjoyable as we really spend quality time together. Little Declan had fun too (Ermm..maybe becos he is back to his "place of origin" :p)

Daddy Koh had specially booked a villa with a private pool, but poor little Declan developed a phobia of swimming after drinking a few mouthfuls of water on the first day. So in the end the pool is really under utilised!

Quite a lot of mozzies there, but luckily Daddy Koh bought alot of mozzies patches and repellant stuff, so our little Declan is safe from "mozzies attacks"!

Our little boy is now very sociable, in fact overly sociable cos almost anyone can carry him. The staff at shops and hotels, immigration officers and even tourists adores him..haha.

O ya, Little Declan can walk without support now. Just called Grandpa, and he say he can walked from Yee Yee's room all the way to living room! Well done. my boy!

Pics! (More pics at Facebook cos I think its a hassle to upload too many over here! )

Little Declan's molar are all out now. I hope it is because of this that cause him to be rather choosy with food recently. He's been spitting out his food recently and refused porridge. So now I have gotta cook rice for him and its pretty tough to crack my brains on the "menu". Everytime he finished his food, we will have a hard time cleaning up as there will be food all over the place. So now we just place a piece of majong paper under his highchair and wrap it up after his meal..hehhe.

Little Declan is now learning to walk, actually he can walk up to 5 steps without support but everytime when he realised I have let go of his little hand, he will become "kan cheong" and rushed towards me. I guessed he is just not confident yet. Now his new trick to "clap and bow", and it works everytime after we sung him his favourite song @ Happy Birthday! Hahha..It was really a joy to watch!

Happy Chinese New Year! Time flies, little Declan is now 14 mths old and this is his 2nd time celebrating CNY! However this year is totally different from last year. Now he can crawl all over the place instead of just lying down in his bouncer..LOL.

Its been a busy week but enjoyable. Declan's "Da Yi" aka my elder sis came back from USA for CNY and I am glad the 2 of them "clicked" haha..Though she is back for only 10 days, but I think she has already developed a "strong liking" towards him..lol. See you back here again next year sis! By then I think Little Declan would be able to walk and talk. :)

My little Declan was sick for the past 2 days. Rushed him to KKH at ard 2am in the morning when I realised he is running a fever of 39 degrees! He was already covered in 2 blankets yet he was shivering! Doctor said it was due ti viral infection, and thank god he is now recovering well.

Daddy Koh booked 2 roooms for us and my parents at the Pan Pacific Hotel during christmas eve. Thought we could go to the Singapore Flyer also but too bad it's suspended its service due to technical fault the previous day. So in the end we just hang ard at Marina Square and Millenia Walk. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! O ya, also collected Declan's passport, heheh looking forward to bring him overseas soon.

T3

Brought little Declan to T3 on Friday, it was his 3rd time there..Nothing much to see actually, just thinking of letting him see the plane taking off. He enjoys it! Little Declan is getting very notti nowadays, he hates the word "NO" and will throw a tantrum when he hears that. I guessed I am the only person he is afraid of cos I am very strict with him. For example if Daddy Koh or his grandparents tells him "NO", he simply ignore them. But once he hears my voice, he will stop. FRankly speaking I am glad that I am able to "control" him cos at least he won't misbehave in public.

My mum-in-law commented the other day that she is fanscinated by the fact that:

1) My son drinks plenty of water (at least 4 bottles (125ml each) per day)
2) Eat almost anything especially vegetables like celery, beetroot etc.
3) Listens to instructions (i.e, when I said "no", he dun even dare to move)
4) Has a fixed routine (Bath at 8pm, drink milk at 8.30pm than off to lala land at 8.45pm)
5) Able to tell us that he wanna poo, and can sit on toilet bowl
6) Sleeps alone in his room
7) Can wash his head by pouring water directly over his head.

You should see the smile on Daddy Koh's face when he hears that, one look and you can see that he is very proud of his son. Of course, I reminded him that all these will never be possible if I never "trained" my son early..hahha
